Moving

So, I'm totally out of my old apartment and into my shiny new one! The main move was Sat when my parents and rather unexpectedly four of my friends
showed up to help out. With seven people it took next to no time to get everything loaded and moved. I met my two upstairs neighbors, both of whom seem very nice. One, who shall be dubbed Frat Boy (cos really if he were anymore stereotypical he would be a caricature), very graciously helped move my couch in. The other, who shall be dubbed Hippie Boy (cos though our conversation was short I have my suspicions, though these are mostly based on the fact that he drives a Volkswagen), stopped by to tell me that there's a chance I may get free cable (I don't) and to warn me to make sure I lock my car as his had been broken into. After the Great Move my parents took everyone out to dinner as a thank you for all the help. And seriously, it was really really appreciated. I thought I would just get the big things moved on Sat and then would still be making trips with smaller boxes by myself on Sun, but we got every last box moved. This meant that on Sun. I got to go with my parents to visit me brother and nephews on Sun. Which was oddles of fun. Hayes the bebe is about the best behaved baby I've ever encountered and Harris is still the cutest toddler in all of Alabama. So, I've been cleaning out the old apt. and unpacking the new which has kept me busy, but I'm just about done! I won't have the internet hooked up in apt. until Oct. since I'm going to be traveling so much this month, but there's no one really at work right now, so I can use the computer there. I'm really excited to see all the gang who'll be in Atlanta this weekend!!
