There was a baptism at church today. I love baptisms in general, but this one was especially great cos the kid getting baptized ruled. She was SO HAPPY to be there. She was a little startled when Father poured the holy water on her, but then she got in to it. She tried to crawl INTO the baptismal font. Then, she kept trying to take the candle from her godmother. She payed lots of attention while Father was praying over her and when we all clapped, she graciously accepted the much deserved adoration. This all was slightly marred when her mother sang a song during the Collection, which I think is kinda tacky, but whatever.

In other news, Coriolanus tech is DONE! Hallelujah. Not a bad tech exactly. Slightly chaotic at times, but that's not terribly unusual. This is just not a play that I'm crazy about. For one thing, it's the longest play in the universe. I've been told it's actually not that much longer than As You Like It, but I'm fairly certain there's some kind of time wormhole involved here becasue I swear this play is like, eight hours long. But at least it only runs for a month.
