Extreme Weekend

jumperkidI was planning on writing a post whining about Extreme Weekend, but this year it actually wasn't so bad. Extreme Weekend is when we do all 6 repertory shows twice in three days, the idea being that one person can see all of the shows in one weekend. Basically it means three two-show days in a row when in a typical week we only do one. And this year, yeah it kinda sucked but it wasn't nearly as bad as last year. I was thinking about it and I realized that even though last season we had TWO shows that were completely wig-less, we still managed to have almost twice as many wigs as this season. I still think though that I would trade having all that maintenance to not have to do Coriolanus. I've been spoiled by getting the Scottish Play and Titus in the same year. Ah, Titus. Now THERE'S a good tragedy. Or at least complete gore-fest which is almost as good as great tragedy.
