New Years was nice though uneventful. New Years Day I went to my grandmothers for the traditional buffet and football watching. This year was more entertaining than usual b/c my nephew is learning how to walk. He hasn't quite got the hang of it, but by God he's determined to figure it out! Football was great as always though the GA. game was decidedly wacky.
I don't really believe in New Years Resolutions. Instead here is a list of a few things I hope/expect for 2004:
RotK to win the Best Picture Oscar
to learn Tae Kwon Do
bookwench to have a safe and successful move to Boston
a peaceful resolution to the state of affairs in the Mid-East (not holding my breath on this one, but it's good to have dreams)
to keep my job
to learn to play the cello
all the surviving Beatles to stay that way
a successful Presidential election
the spell check on LJ to learn about contractions
to see as many Jump, Little Children concerts as possible as well as Ben Folds
I think that about covers it for now...
