I saw a bumbersticker on my way home from church today: "I'd rather be reading Flannery O'Connor" which I find sorta delightful in it's specificity (that's a word, right? Well, it is now...).
You know I can only think of a few things that would make me want to read Flannery O'Conner.
Like in a choice between having my eyes poked out with firey pokers of doom, or reading Wise Blood, I would have to think a lot before I could decide. About halfway through reading the book I'd be wanting someone to poke out my eyes.
hmmm have I mentioned that I'm not a fangirl of hers?
