Well, I have taken the plunge. The car has been bought and Honda owns my soul for the next 5 years. At least that's what it feels like. It's really just that I've never bought anything quite so big or expensive before! But really, I'm quite delighted. It's a 2001 Honda Accord. And get this, it has air conditioning!!! I've never before owned a car that actually had air conditioning. I think I may become quite spoiled soon by the sheer wonder of my car! My parents came to advise and guide on the whole car thing for which I was quite grateful, and we are all pleased with the outcome of our trip. I got it in town which made my father happy. I got the Accord which made my mother happy (she's convinced it's safer than the Civic which may or may not be true, but she believes which is all that matters). I don't have to ask my roommates for rides anymore, which makes me happy. And it has air conditioning!

YAY! am SO jealous. of course, i drive a '90 ford probe. which has been wrecked. his name is mad-eye moody. ask patty why, she's met him. :D

I'm very excited, but I still feel kinda guilty that I killed my car. She was a good one and didn't deserve that ending. But hey, now I have air conditioning!
