Waiting for Godot is made twice as hilarious when you realize that Vladimir is totally John Sheppard and Estragon is totally Rodney McKay. Also? I really need to stop calling Estragon Estrogen 'cause that'll be embarrassing when I say it out loud in class.  I'm thinking it's possible that Pozzo may be a Wraith. Well, Todd anyway. I promise not to recast every play with SG:A people, but I swear to God(ot!) that this one just did it by itself.

heck no. you should totally relate all plays to sga. and then tell me which ones to read. cuz i'm a bad librarian and haven't read nearly as many plays as i should have. *hangs head*

OMG! OMG! I'm bringing Godot with me on Friday and we will so read some excerpts because this shit is cracking me up. And totally not in the way Beckett intended. Although, writing his name just now made me realize something. Maybe he did. MAYBE HIS NAME ISN'T SAMUEL BUT CARSON!!! HE'S FROM THE FUTURE!! THIS IS HIS HOMAGE TO JOHN AND RODNEY'S BIG GAY LOVE!! I'm totally writing my thesis on this.

Anyway, I will without a doubt make you read some! Plays rock!

AHAHAHAHA! excellent. i'm always up for reading new things. especially if it winds up relating to sga. also, sga is completely skewing my view of the world. there's a cedar lane near me. and i keep calling it carson lane in my head. ridiculous.

i'm so glad you've found the awesome. i still have another week before classes start and i'm trying to get as much reading done before i find out i'm in over my head. something actually happened in Pamela today, so that was positive!

I'm telling you. Just substitute all the characters with the cast of some other, more interesting form of media and even when nothing happens, it's SO MUCH BETTER.

And I think I need to go on record here (and I realize it's my fault but still) I AM SO JEALOUS THAT YOU GET TO LIVE IN ATHENS.
